Your eye is drawn to the human in the picture and based off of his size you judge the rest of the picture. You know from previous knowledge that the cat cannot be bigger than the man which is why your eye is not drawn to the cat at first. Your eye is drawn to the object that you are most familiar with and the object that is making direct eye contact with the viewer.

The 3D object, the flowers, reflect upon the block print fabric and play with the scale compared that plays with the avocado toast on the printed fabric. Your eye is drawn to the flowers which helps your mind figure out the scale for the rest of the image.

This picture causes nostalgia without having to suffer some sort of loss in the photo. The nostalgia is brought up from the happy memories attached to the image itself.

This piece of driftwood makes me think of the exotic and it fits the sentence because it is both a specimen and a trophy perched upon the beach washed up from the sea.
